About the Programme
The EAS Certificate of Education in Familial Hypercholesterolaemia is a comprehensive online learning Programme on FH, now available on the EAS Academy.
The objective of this course is to give a broad knowledge about the most common genetic dyslipidaemia, Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH). The course covers all aspects of FH. It gives insight into the genetics of the disease, the basic molecular mechanisms, and its clinical development. It also covers many practical aspects of treatment of patients with FH, including FH in childhood, and management of FH patients and their families.
The EAS Certificate of Excellence in FH is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 4 hours of External CME credits.
The Programme has been developed by the EAS Educational Activities Committee, led by Programme Director Professor Lale Tokgozoglu, and Professor Olov Wiklund.
