ELC elections took place during the annual Members' Assembly of the 41st ELC meeting in Tutzing, on Wednesday September 12, 2018. ELC members voted in the ballot elections and we are glad to welcome Christina Christoffersen, Copenhagen, Denmark and Mathilde Varret, Paris, France as new members of the ELC Organising Committee to start their duty as from January 01, 2019.
We thank the outgoing members Jan Albert Kuivenhoven, Groningen, The Netherlands and Laurent Martinez, Toulouse, France for their fantastic contributions on the Committee during the past five years and we hope to still have them contributing to future ELC meetings!

- fundraising to run the scientific meeting
- content of the website (www.eas-society.org/elc)
- deciding the criteria on which the scientific contributions to the meeting are selected
- selection of scientific contributions to the annual meeting
- practical arrangements for the scientific meeting
Elections 2019
Elections for new ELC Committee members will be held during the Members' Assembly of the Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Lipoprotein Club. The next elections will take place at the 42nd ELC meeting, Tutzing, Germany September 09-12, 2019. There is one position as Organising Committee member becoming vacant on January 01, 2020 and nominations for candidates will be welcome in May 2019. ELC members may vote during the ballot elections to be held at the annual meeting in Tutzing in September, 2019.
