Integral to the Programme are case-study discussion sessions - stimulating exchange of scientific knowledge and practical & organisational experience. These sessions give attendees the opportunity to compare and evaluate the management of FH patients from different European perspectives, and share best practice.

In conjunction with the Symposium we will hold a Central & Eastern European Key Opinion Leader Summit, at which we will identify & address the major issues that face these regions in the diagnosis & treatment of FH, and develop initiatives to tackle them.

Learning Objectives

EAS-FHSC collaborates to establish an international network, to share between countries their experiences, best practices and essential information about FH.

The specific objectives of the Symposium are:

Further, the objectives of the Central & Eastern European Key Opinion Leader Summit are:

  • to examine and agree on the major challenges facing countries in this region, and
  • to initiate further educational programmes within the framework of the EAS-FHSC
