Last Call to vote in EAS Election 2020

The new appointments to the Society leadership will have a major influence on the policies and activities of the EAS for years to come. We encourage all members to take part in the ballot, so the Society's elected leadership will represent the values of our members.

You have now just one more day to vote.

The election is for the Officer positions of Vice President, Treasurer-Elect & Secretary, as well as three Executive Committee Member positions. Voting is via a website-based ballot of Society members, according to the Society's bylaws.
We are grateful to the candidates for contributing to the life of the Society, by standing in this year's elections.

A tribute to Professor Christian "Enis" Ehnholm 1939-2020

It is with sadness that we share the news of the death of Professor Christian “Enis” Ehnholm, after a short sickness, on September 07, 2020 in Grankulla, Finland.
Prof Ehnholm was an internationally renowned researcher in the field of cardiovascular diseases, who made pioneering discoveries and authored 470 scientific publications. We have lost a warm-hearted research personality, who has left a legacy both nationally and internationally.
Professor Ehnholm took an active part in international atherosclerosis organisations, including IAS and EAS. He has a special place in EAS' history as a co-chair for EAS Helsinki Congress 2007.

On behalf of the Society’s members, current and former leadership, we send our condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Prof Ehnholm.

On behalf of EAS President
Prof Lale Tokgozoglu
