EAS President reaching out at EU level with a warning of high death numbers caused by CVD

In an article in the September 29 issue of The Parliament Magazine, EAS President Professor Lale Tokgozolgu argues that unless action is taken, CVD will continue to be a leading cause of death in Europe.

Early action and aggressive implementation of prevention and control plans are suggested to reduce the cardiovascular disease epidemic predicted to be the number one killer in 2030 according to WHO.
