 | Photos for Atherosclerosis Covers | | EAS members are invited to submit images, photos and graphics to be used on the cover of Atherosclerosis. The editorial staff will be changing the cover images monthly and will be looking for new and interesting subjects to put on the cover. Contributors and thier labs will be credited for their contributions.
Below are the specifications of the changing images on the new cover:
- Resolution: Elsevier recommends minimum resolution as follows:
Color figs: min. 300dpi
Line Art: min. 1000 dpi
Line /colour combination: min. 500 dpi
Line/halftone combination: min. 500 dpi
B/w halftones: 500 dpi
- File format: TIFF, EPS or PDF.
- Acceptable media: 3.5" disk, CD-ROM, ZIP disk or JAZ disk
- The image size is 90mm (w) by 60mm (h), so in a 3:2 ratio landscape format.
[Note from the cover designer to image suppliers: "Let them know that their images will need to fit the 3:2 ratio landscape format or cropping will occur. If this is not possible then the image supplier should specify the crop they want applied."]
