|Geesje M. Dallinga-Thie|
Geesje M. Dallinga-Thie received her degree from the University of Wageningen, The Netherlands, and a PhD in Medicine.
Currently, she is Manager of the Laboratory of Experimental Vascular Medicine at the Academic Medical Center (AMC) in Amsterdam. Before becoming Co-Editor, she served as Associate Editor for Atherosclerosis for more than 5 years.
Her current research focuses on 3 different topics: 1. genetics of hyperlipidemia: cause and consequences; 2. role of gut microbiota in insulin resistance, lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis; 3. lipoprotein kinetics in diseased state.
Dr. Dallinga-Thie has authored more than 200 original and review papers in international scientific journals.
