EAS Consensus Position Paper Initiative

The EAS Consensus Panel, comprised of internationally renowned experts in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease, was convened in November 2009 to consider the evidence for non-LDL lipids as risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

The Panel is co-chaired by Professor John Chapman, France, and Professor Henry Ginsberg, USA.

Joint EAS-EFLM Consensus Position Paper Initiative

In an expert panel together with the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), EAS is working on recommendations for laboratory testing of lipids and cardiovascular risk markers.

The Panel consists of: Nordestgaard BG, Langsted A, Mora S, Kolovou G, Baum H, Bruckert E, Watts GF, Sypniewska G, Wiklund O, Borén J, Chapman MJ, Cobbaert C, Descamps OS, von Eckardstein A, Kamstrup PR, Pulkki K, Kronenberg F, Remaley AT, Rifai N, Ros E, Langlois M, for the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM) joint consensus initiative.
