Welcome to the EAS-FHSC Symposium on FH

Dear colleagues and friends,

A warm welcome to Warsaw, the capital city of Poland, for the EAS-FHSC Central & Eastern European Symposium on FH, November 25-27, 2016.

The Symposium will summarize and discuss up-to-date information on FH and bring together leaders in the field.

One of the main themes of the Symposium is to facilitate collaboration between experts, with particular focus on the region of Central and Eastern Europe, and to invite them for closer cooperation with EAS in the Central & Eastern European Key Opinion Leader Summit

We have prepared an exciting agenda for the Symposium, of interest to physicians, researchers and others involved in the screening, diagnosis and management of patients with familial hypercholesterolaemia. The format will be a blend of lectures, workshops and lively discussions to stimulate exchange of knowledge and experience, both at a scientific and organizational levels. We are delighted that some of the most prominent experts working in the field will join us as faculty members.

For more information, follow these links to the Symposium Programme, confirmed facultypractical information, and online registration.

Bringing together established researchers and clinicians working in the field of familial hypercholesterolaemia from the entire European region will enable us to discuss common problems and design future mutual projects. For the first time we will enjoy the opportunity to compare and evaluate the situation from different European countries. In particular we welcome countries in central and eastern Europe into the global EAS FHSC registry, which aims to provide the largest most contemporary data on FH prevalence, detection, management and consequences thereof.

Register now! The organizers look forward to welcoming you and your colleagues to Warsaw  -  the perfect setting to fulfill our mutual goals, to improve identification and provide better treatment for FH patients.
