EAS Advanced Courses autumn 2017 - Open for application


Precision medicine: Paris, France October, 2017 - application open until June 30

This 1.5-day course is organised for EAS by Professors Eric Bruckert (Paris, France) and Eran Leitersdorf (Jerusalem, Israel). The Course venue is Hopital Pitié Salpêtrière in Paris, France.

The objectives of this course are to study the use of novel diagnostics towards improved patient stratification and targeted therapy, and better understand what therapeutic considerations should be taken into account based on patients' genetic background and disease phenotypes. EAS courses enable you to meet and discuss with experts in the field and to network and interact with peers from other countries.

The course will take place from Thursday October 05 - Friday October 06, 2017 at Hôpital Pitié Salpêtrière, Paris, Franc.

Stable Isotope: Nantes, France October, 2017- application open until June 30

This 3-day course is organised by EAS and the Thorax Institute & the Human Nutrition Research Center of Nantes. It is targeted towards trained or in training physician or non-physician scientists.

The objective of this course is to give a broad knowledge of the study of the kinetics of lipid metabolism in humans by the use of stable isotopes and mass spectrometry. The course offers a unique possiblity to meet and discuss with experts in the field and to network and interact with your peers from other countries.

The course will take place from Wednesday, October 11 - Friday, October 13, 2017 at the RS-UN in Nantes, France.

Atherothrombosis: Vienna, Austria November, 2017- application open until September

This 3-day course on Atherothrombosis is organised by EAS and the Medical University of Vienna and is targeted towards senior PhD students, post docs and MDs.

The course will include the basic principles and novel research in atherothrombosis and offers a unique possiblity to meet and discuss with experts in your own field and to network and interact with your peers from other countries.

The course will take place from Tuesday, 28 November - Thursday, 30 November, 2017 at the CeMM Research Center for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria.

Open for application until September 01.
