EAS 2017 Prague welcomes a distinguished international faculty to share their pioneering perspectives on the latest developments in basic research and clinical practice in atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Introducing the Keynote speakers

It is our pleasure to introduce the Congress' Keynote Lectures "How LDL causes inflammation in the artery wall" with Prof. Göran Hansson on Monday April 24, 2017 at 17:30 and "Mechanistic insights into innovative therapeutics in lipid lowering in vivo" with Prof. Henry Ginsberg on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 18:40.

Göran K. Hansson is Professor of Cardiovascular Research at Karolinska Institute and works in the Department of Medicine at Karolinska University Hospital and its Center for Molecular Medicine.

Henry N. Ginsberg, MD, is the Irving Professor of Medicine and Director Emeritus of the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at Columbia University Medical Center.

Young Investigator Awards for outstanding publications - nominations open until February 01!

These annual EAS prizes for young scientists are intended to recognize distinction shown by publications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of atherosclerosis and linked metabolic disturbances.

Each recipient will receive a prize of € 2000 and will be invited to make a short presentation of their work at the annual EAS Congress. The winners of the Awards for outstanding publications 2016 will be invited to present at EAS 2017 Prague.
