We are looking for individuals who:

The duties of each post are described, as well as the ideal profile of the candidates we will be seeking to fill these posts. Within the leadership of the Society we seek balance in terms of area of scientific expertise, geographical region and gender.

Recent Journal Highlights
EAS regularly publish highlighted articles from the Atherosclerosis journal by Simona Negrini and Arnold von Eckardstein (Editor–in-Chief). In the February Issue, Volume 245, 2016, Negrini and von Eckardstein comment on the article Management of residual risk after statin therapy by Reith and Armitage and on two research papers; The effect of prolonged dietary nitrate supplementation on atherosclerosis development by Marsch et al. and Longer duration of statin therapy is associated with decreased carotid plaque vascularity by magnetic resonance imaging by O'Brien et al.
The review also includes an announcement and clarification of the OMICS Group and "Atherosclerosis: Open Access". This journal has nothing to do with the Atherosclerosis journal and authors are strongly advised to be careful when submitting a paper intended for the Atherosclerosis journal.
