Support for young investigators

EAS encourages the development of the field by providing support to the next generation of scientists and clinicians – to enable them to further their careers by attending the Congress. Young Investigator Fellowships will be awarded to selected poster and oral communication presenters aged 35 or under, on a competitive basis.

Apply for travel support

Travel grants will be awarded to selected presenters of poster or oral communications who work or study in countries where funding for travel to international meetings is difficult to obtain.

Include your own research in the programme

Opportunities to present your own work at EAS 2016 include oral presentations in Workshops, Young Investigator Oral Communication sessions, Free Communication sessions, Science at a Glance sessions and Guided poster sessions. Presented abstracts will be published in Atherosclerosis journal. The abstract submission deadline, January 11, is fast approaching. Please make sure to submit your abstract in time, and encourage your colleagues to do so.
