With a major focus on European issues, the EAS has close links with the National Atherosclerosis Societies and other active European groups. EAS also contributes to the world-wide activities of the International Atherosclerosis Society (IAS), and continues to work on the development and publication of Joint Guidelines for Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease with the European Society for Cardiology (ESC). |
