The awards will be presented during the 78th EAS Congress in Hamburg, in a special ceremony to take place on Monday, June 21st, 2010 at 17:30; the recipients will deliver a short presentation on their work.

The EAS fully recognizes that continuation of European research into atherosclerosis depends on the education and enthusiasm of young researchers. The Society is strongly committed to supporting and encouraging young scientists, and is pleased to make this award in recognition of the outstanding work presented in the above articles. We hope the award will assist the recipients in their future research and look forward to welcoming them to Hamburg.
