Irene Jack Erhardt joined the EAS as Executive Director in the fall of 2002. She has a Master of Science Degree in Biology /Physiology . Ms Jack came to the EAS after 21 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry. She spent 8 years in the clinical research division of MSD where she worked with clinical trials related to cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis and the cholesterol lowering drugs. She then moved to the corporate division where she was responsible for professional relations with the scientific community and the design and organization of educational programs in the field of Atherosclerosis. |
