Who should apply?

Applicants should be currently active in the research areas covered by the Course (see Programme), and looking to deepen their knowledge and develop their skills in this area.

Applicants should be EAS members ( not a member? Click HERE to apply for EAS membership and so become eligible to attend the Course) and must have paid the Society's membership fee for 2011

EAS will provide the following:
- Accommodation at Hotel SAS Radisson Esboo
- Meals [Wednesday 21st September (lunch and dinner); Thursday 22nd September (lunch and dinner); Friday 23rd September (lunch)]
EAS will also cover the cost of attendees' travel to the course (standard/economy flight within Europe). In exceptional cases, non-European applicants may be awarded a contribution towards their travel costs.

Persons interested in attending the course should complete and submit the on-line Application Form, which is available HERE.
Note: applicants must attach to their submission:
- their up-to-date CV
- a "Statement of motivation" (500 words max) explaining why they wish to attend the Course, and how they will apply the knowledge gained from it.

We will consider applications received before the closing date: 17 June 2011.

| Applicant selection |
The organizers will evaluate the applications and select as attendees those they judge:
- have the required competences to participate fully in the Course (based on their CV), and
- will gain the greatest benefit from the knowledge and skills learned on the Course in their research/studies/employment (based on their "Statement of Motivation").
