EAS 2012 Young Investigator Award

The EAS Prizes for Young Scientists in Atherosclerosis Research

The annual EAS Prizes for Young Scientists are intended to recognize distinction shown by publications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of atherosclerosis and linked metabolic disturbances.

The Awards

Each recipient will receive € 2000 and will be invited to make a short presentation of their work at the annual EAS Congress.

Criteria for eligibility

• The candidates are recognized for a publication in the area of atherosclerosis and linked metabolic disturbances.
• One Prize is awarded for clinical research and one Prize is awarded for basic research.
• The candidates are 40 years or younger at the time of the nomination
