EAS 2012 Travel Grants
The EAS has set aside money for support of young scientists and physicians from less affluent situations. This funding is intended primarily to help young colleagues from new EU countries and others where Institutional or National funding is difficult to obtain; colleagues from established EU countries are encouraged to apply to other sources first.
Who is eligible?
To qualify for such a travel stipend the applicant must:
- Have a current membership in the EAS (2012)
- Have submitted an abstract for the upcoming EAS Congress
- Preference will be given to applications sent by persons 35 years or younger
The applications are now beeing reviewed by the EAS Scientific Committee. Travel Grants for the 80th EAS Congress in Milan will be announced end of February/beginning of March.
