Opening Ceremony Professor Michael Brown delivers the Anitschkow Lecture, and is presented with the Anitschkow Award by the Congress Chair, Professor Ulrike Beisiegel, and the EAS President, Professor John Chapman


The winners of the EAS Young Investigator Awards 2010 Danilo Norata and Stefano Romeo receive their award certificates at EAS 2010, Hamburg, Germany. Presenting the awards are Prof Rudi Zechner, Chair of the EAS Scientific Committee, and Prof Jan Boren.

     

Poster Presentations The Poster area was the focus of much activity. For the first time at EAS Moderated Poster Sessions were held. Poster authors presented their work, with discussions led by selected Senior Scientists.


      

International Evening An International buffet was followed by presentation of awards to the Poster Competition winners, and then music and dancing
