The European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) was founded in 1964. With atherosclerosis becoming an increasingly important concern as European populations grow older, the work of the Society is today more relevant than ever. By the organization of events, such as Congresses, Workshops and Summer School, and through its journal Atherosclerosis, the EAS affords medical professionals access to the latest knowledge in areas including myocardial infarction, cerebro- and peripheral vascular disease. |
