Clinical Rounds, Part I

During the Course delegates will take part in three Clinical Rounds sessions, and for this they will be divided into three groups. Each group will take one round per session focussing on one of the topics below: 
  • (i) Familial hypercholesterolemia, (ii) diabetic dyslipidemia,
    (iii) stable CHD 
  • Imaging (intima-media thickness, endothelial reactivity, body-fat distribution, etc.)
  • Genetic screening and lipid biomarkers

  • Genetic dyslipidemias: diagnosis and therapy 
  • Detecting subclinical atherosclerosis: does it help to better stratify the global cardiovascular risk of patients?
