The EAS has close links with National Atherosclerosis Societies throughout Europe, and with other active European organizations, notably the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
At an international level, EAS contributes to the worldwide activities of the Inter-national Atherosclerosis Society (IAS), to which it is formally linked. In addition, EAS is active in supporting joint sessions at the annual congresses of organizations such as IAS, ESC, the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), the International Chair on Cardiometabolic Risk (ICCR), and the Asian-Pacific Society of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Diseases (ASPAVD).
